Bakelite Rose Lavalier Made in Germany What a fine piece of collectible Bakelite. The drop on this lavaliere is three inches, with the carved rose being 1-1/2 inch. The dainty brass chain is another 18 inches with the ring closure marked Germany. It consists of filigree and ivory colored beads made of unknown material. I have not been able to determine a book value.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

528-8

Super 5 Strand Pearl and Blue Crystal Set This has got to be one of the prettiest crystal and pearl sets ever. I still can't believe this top quality set does not have a designer signature on it. The faux pearls show no wear and the crystals really live up to their name, Aurora Borealis, and have predominately blue tones. There are the neatest tiny swirl spacers between each bead. The five strand necklace has a Cleopatra look. It measures 15" with a two inch back drop. The earrings are 1-1/2" with wired on beads. (If photos appear fuzzy, use the zoom to clearify.) Book value $450.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

375-9

Snake Brooch with Turquoise Eyes This twisted; curled brooch mass of snakes is reminiscent of the Victorian jewelry. The snake’s eyes are done in facet turquoise glass. It's a nice size for a show piece, being almost three inches wide. There is a small spot of finish loss, other wise in very good condition. This can be easily touched up with Rub & Buff (which I can do for you if you’d like). Book value $50.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

30-1

1800s Gold Open Face Elgin Pocket Watch First of all let me state that I know nothing about watches. This Elgin pocket watch has been scratch on the inside screw on back plate and appears to be 14k yellow gold. It is marked on the plate Dueber, Warranted 20 years, 10610039. There are also several numbers scratched on the plate that I was told are records of some sort of cleaning or work that had been done on it during the years. It has a single-sunk porcelain dial (there are scratches on it but not as visible as my photos make them appear) with black Arabic numerals minute markers, and seconds register, and does not appear to be working. It may just need a cleaning, but again, I do not know. There are no scratches on the front glass.

Inside around the edge of the movement is etched ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO, USA, 15 JEWELS, 22213244.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

721-1

Rose Guilloche and Mesh Double Compact This compact is what is called a Duo, functional for all in one beauty needs. It opens to reveal a lined purse for lipstick and has a second compartment in the top section which holds the entire compact area. This opens to a powder-dispensing mechanism and a tin mirror; which opens for the rouge section and back side of the tin mirror. This compact has never been used as you can see from the original rouge, and sales information. The outer mesh is in perfect condition as well. The only flaw is a chip in the guilloche top. Otherwise even the rose paintings are without flaw. Made by the Evens Case Co.

737-1

Gorgeous Miriam Haskell Pearl Set with Green Crystals Basic pearl pieces have always been Haskell's bread and butter, and the large number of simple pearl pieces available in the market-place confirms the popularity of this line. This set combines the baroque pearls with emerald green crystal spacers on the 25" necklace, and forms a ring around the earrings. All pieces are marked and the clasp is decked with rhinestones.

This set is not in too bad of condition compared with most old pearl pieces; with some wear on the necklace that looks more like shadows. There appears to be tied string near the back of the necklace where it may have been repaired at one time. The earring pearls show more wear, with the largest flake being 1/16th of an inch. All in all, the set is in good condition and wearable as is.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

Click for more detail...
716-11

H J Sterling Eagle, Fleur-de-Lis and Anchor Eagle Pins This is a nice lot of eagle pins. I'm offering them as a lot, as I know they are one of the more popular collector’s items and thought someone might like them all.

The older one at the top of the photo is the one that is marked HJ Sterling. It is holding a shield with stars and has anchor motif at the side. May be an old military pin.

Then there is one with a red shield with a Fleur-de-Lis pattern. The eagle is wearing a crown.

The largest is in the shape of a shield with a crown topping it and an enamel work eagle in the center.

Estimated price for the lot is $135. Don't miss this deal!

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

452-22

Regal Enamel Egg Posts by Avon These post earrings don't appear to have been worn. They are total regal and I was surprised to find them to be made by Avon. Measuring 1-3/8", they are deep red enamel eggs with brass and rhinestone accents, topped by the crown cross. One of the neat features to these is that you can remove the eggs and wear them as hoops. A rather nice idea for the working women or traveler. Book value $35.

717-2

Victorian Collar Czech Pin with Amethyst Crystal This late Victorian collar pin is made with rhinestones and an amethyst crystal center. The back pin has a C closure and a tube hinge. It is my guess it is Czechoslovakian because it came from an estate with many Czech pieces, as well as it looks the part with its fancy brass work. Book value $65.

577-1

Austrian Forbidden Fruit Pin in Green and White I just love the fruit pieces of costume jewelry, especially the Forbidden Fruit made in Austria in the 1950's. They are really under priced in the reference guides as hard as they are to find, and as high as they sell for. This one is in very good condition with minimal wear to the enameled leaves, and bright lively lime green rhinestones. The grapes are cream colored early plastic. Book value $150.

754-1

Gold Plate Morning Set with Facet Black Glass This set is made of brass with thin gold gilt that is worn. The cuff style bracelet is ridged around the perimeter, and displays a leaf and flower motif. The center is facet glass with a center wired faux pearl. All the pearls on the set have lost their finish, showing a milk white bead, and show no signs of even being coated. The cuff opens with an under button and hinged opening.

The screw back earrings duplicate the motif and hang two inches. These types of earring are seen in many price guides averaging between $40 and $60, but never feature the accompanying bracelet. The set is a fine find. Book value for the set $120.

752-8

Gorgeous Asian Dish Set My first love of antiques was glassware, so I am still attracted to it even though I have only bought it for my own use. So I really know nothing of values or manufactures. This china set of three sandwich dishes and one soup bowl is marked in what I believe to be Chinese. They are hand painted both front and back with mums or roses on very fine china. The fronts are done in royal blue and oriental red, with gold gilt. They are in very good condition, other than one having a chip (that I never noticed until taking these photos). I would guess they are from the 1930s-40s. They are beautiful dishes that display gorgeously. Shipping on the set is $14.85 within the U.S.A. (The last photo shows the plate with the chip at 10 o'clock.)
