Hidden Schiaparelli Treasure This is the most unconventional Schiaparelli set I've ever seen. In her short lived business adventure Elsa used many designers, and the one that came up with this design was way ahead of times. This set was found stored away in an antique with many other treasures.

The bracelet is 7-1/4 inches and the drop clip earrings measure 1-3/4 inch. They are made of curved metal and molded confetti glass. Each piece is signed and the earrings carry the patent number dating them to the 1950's, and probably near the end of Schiaparelli's production. They are in perfect condition other than the missing safety chain on the bracelet. This is a grand set to add to a collection, as the original owner knew full well.

Scarce Copper Retro Brooch with Cobalt Stones These lovely retro brooches have got to be the most neglected collectors’ jewelry out there. I'm sure the price will increase to their worth eventually, but now is a good time to start a collection.

This brooch is made of copper, which is not found often. Another remarkable feature is that it is signed "Hand Made", something I‘ve never seen before. The foilless cobalt stones are over half an inch with no chips. The only flaw to this brooch is some abrasion on the under side of the prongs. It's over 3-1/2" long and gives the appearance of flowers bent in the wind.

Flying Creature Motif with Multi Cabochon Pendant This is a strange pendant measuring 2-1/2 inches. I love the multi colored cabochons with a dash of rhinestones and faux pearls that draw the eye to some kind of flying creature. It could be either representative of American Indian or more along the line of Egyptian Revival ~ you be the judge. The 24" chain is attached by a fleur-de-lis. (Note: the first photo is the more accurate coloring on the coral cabochon, and the lower photo more so on the others.)

Charles of the Ritz Compact and Avon Lip Stick This Charles of the Ritz compact is designed with a silver and gold tone basket weave pattern. There are normal scuff marks on the outside, and the inside is like new. It still has its CR powder puff which is unused and the leather and felt lining. There are no scratches or cracks in the mirror either. I've paired this up with an Art Deco design Avon lip stick which still has some of the Ripe Red color remaining.

Miriam Haskell White Tapestry Earrings Gone Bad From the set of the Amourelle white tapestry bead flower motif, these early M.H. earrings are designed by Frank Hess. They could use a cleaning, however the rhinestones are as shiny as ever. They have "gone bad" in the sense that someone replaced the original backs. The early clips were never signed, the gold finish matched the rest of the piece, and they were never glued on, as these are. You can actually see the finish loss higher on the back filigree from where they had touched the skin when worn in their original state. Overall though, they are still a great set of Miriam Haskell earrings in a motif not seen very often.

Raised Daisy Petals with Rhinestone Center Bracelet I remember these sets from my childhood, as my mother had the necklace and earrings that you see every once and a while. This is the first time I've seen a bracelet to the daisy set. To top it off, it doesn't appear that it was ever used. There is paint loss to some of the petals on one of the flowers from years in a jewelry box no doubt, which is why I'm putting the condition at good rather than excellent. This is, of coarse, something that is an easy fix. The flowers themselves are a cream white, and the centers have clear, bright rhinestones. This bracelet is also a little longer than most, which makes it nice for a larger boned woman. [Side Note: If you purchase it at the full newly listed price, I'll get my husband, who is an artist, to touch up the paint for you at no extra charge.] This is a very sweet vintage piece to enjoy this summer.

Souvenir Spoon Lot I will be the first to admit I know nothing on the subject of collecting souvenir spoons. These have plenty of wear, but are worth having if you need them to round out a collection. There is one that appears to be the oldest, which is a grapefruit spoon that has an old ship marked R.M.S. Caronia. The back is stamped EPNS. It is silver over brass and is probably from the 1950s or so. The middle one is marked Israel and has a nice Art Nouveau design, and the third is marked Nice and has a hawk and watch towers and moat at the top. They need a cleaning.

Silver Lily Pad Pearl Bracelet This bracelet is a real beauty. It looks like silver lily pads with faux pearl centers. It is not marked sterling but looks like it, with no signs of wear at the hinges that would indicate plating. It also has a lovely patina. The clasp is marked Yechang but I have been unable to find any information on the maker. Each pad is an inch across, yet it looks delicately feminine. Since my research has left me with a plank, I am pricing this as if it is plated, giving you a chance at a real bargain.

Funky Sequin Drop Earrings Delightful party earrings that are over three inches in length. They are made with black and gold sequins and seed beads. The clip backs are gold tone (as the right earring, lighting makes them look different) and don't appear that they had much wear.

Super Nice Confetti Earrings These confetti earrings from the 40s are super nice. They are well made, and although not marked, I would guess they are German. The silver tone over brass settings is sturdy yet ornate. The plastic centers are made differently than most confetti pieces. They have a look of oyster shell chips with gold confetti at the bottom and a clear plastic dome top which give them an elegant look. They measure 1-1/4" across and have normal wear on the back clips. Book value is $60.

Great Lot of Vintage Contempory Jewelry I recently purchase a couple lots of jewelry for basically a couple pieces. This lot is made up of the rest of the pieces that I just don't want to bother listing separately. It's really a great collection of contemporary pieces that are classic enough to be used for years. The lot totaled 49 pieces, so I added a lovely necklace that is not in the photos to top it off at an even 50.

Pieces are as follows: 7 rings, 9 necklaces, 4 bangles, 1 clamper bracelet, 4 bracelets, 2 wrist watches (I don't know anything about them, whether they just need batteries or what), 2 pins, 1 barrette, 2 scarf clips, 15 pairs of earrings and 2 pendants. I forgot to look at all the pieces as I was bagging them up and counting, but those I saw with names were Monet, Emmons, Goldette, 925, and Avon. Pieces consist of enamel, wood, silver, plastic, brass, copper, rhinestones, and faux pearls. All are in excellent condition with the exception of a couple rhinestones missing on one pair of earrings and some post backs missing. This is a great lot for re-sale, kids parties, or to add to your own accessories. You can’t even buy cheap jewelry at this price, let alone this quality.

Three Toned Majorica Pearl Ring First made on the Spanish island of Majorca in the Mediterranean over a century ago, Majorica pearls have a close resemblance to natural pearls. Though man-made, I know first hand from shopping for them in Spain in the 80's just how expensive these pieces can be. This ring is terrific with three different shades of pearls in granulated size. The gold filled ring is adjustable from a size 5 to a 6-1/2. It has no markings but comes in its original box.
