This pin also seconds as a pendant. Obviously a hand made piece but only stamped S925, probably Mexican.
I asked my husband what he thought it was and he came up with a butterfly. Since when do butterflies have no wings? Then he thought it was an owl. I'll stick to a frog, but you get the idea - it's a neat piece that can be whatever you want it to be. There are large carved eyes that give a sweet, don't squish me look. I believe the stone is agate. It is not glued in, but held with the sterling bezel edge.
