Condition: Very Good Size: 17" Type: Necklace
This is a most unique necklace from the late Victorian era made of button like solid copper. Each disc has an Art Nouveau design stamped into it with an M or a W inside a triangle on the back. The backs also have rivets that were hammered into links of the chain, holding them in place. The closure is a loop in the chain where a amaller end button fits through. With this type of closure, which I’ve not come across before, is not an adjustable necklace, and must be worn at its full 17 inches. Estimated book value $95. |
