This sweet Victorian pinwheel pin has all the charm that comes with an art nouveau design, and then some. The center prongs hold a precious opal from the Australian opal fields discovered in 1870. Around it and nestled in typical motif of the era are tiny seed pearls. The back pin has a ball hinge and a C type clasp, as well as a chain ring. Unmarked tested 10KT gold. Book value $285. |
