| Lovely abstract bird set by BSK (Steinberg Kaslo) dating from the 1960s. The wings and body are etched filigree and the tail is turquoise beads and hand set ruby and blue rhinestones. The clip earrings mimic the wings. The metal is an antiqued silver tone that gives the appearance of pewter. Bird measures 2-1/2"x 2" and the earrings are 1-1/8 inch. As a collector of bird pieces, I can't believe I'm even putting this up for sale! The stones look like garnets and sapphires. (Much nicer than the photos show.) |
