Scrimshaw is scarcely seen in bracelets, and this piece is even signed by the artist. The man I bought it from said TR was one of the best artist in the field, and his work demands high prices. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name. The silver cuff is also marked on both sides of one end. There is some type of a stamp on the outer side, and the inner mark is letters, but very difficult to read.
The eagle or hawk is sitting on a bluff that looks out over water, with mountains in the background. It is very detailed and a fine work of art. At close view, the bird’s eyes move with you; no matter what angle you're looking from, he's looking right back.
