Circa: 1960s Condition: Excellent Size: 26" Chain Type: Pendant Manufacturer: Mazer/Jomaz Mazer Brothers was founded in the 1920's and has become well known for high quality jewelry that is avidly sought by collectors. The earlier jewelry was marked Mazer Bros., and later went by Jomaz. They went out of business in the 1970's. In my opinion the firm made some of its finer pieces under the Jomaz name.
The center of this pendant is adorned with a bronze enamel lion face. The pearl in its mouth has a lovely luster and it’s difficult to tell whether it is real or faux. Around the head and the outer edges are jade glass stones.

This unique pendant is 3-3/4" by 2-3/4" and hangs from a 26 inch chain. The etched chain mimics the etching on the filigree pendant.
All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase. |
