Richelieu is mostly known for pearl jewelry, both artificial and real. This modernist star burst brooch with green Peking glass (not a blue-green as the photos would have you think)is a very rare piece from the manufacturer. At close examination it appears that the metal is beaten up from years of knocking about in a jewelry box, however, the metal was done in a pitted texture when produced and is in very good condition. This brooch is a true classic that will never fade out of style. Book value $75.
