This book piece entitled Spring Fury is composed of porcelain, painted, lacquered and then topped with pure gold tips. The centers are unbelievably ornate. This set does have some issues, with a leaf that is repaired from a break, and a tiny chip on one of the clip earrings. On the other hand, you do have the complete set, which is not even shown in the reference guide. If you like the old porcelain pins, this is a nice change from the rose clusters that normally are found. Book value on just the pin is $20.
