This is the most unconventional Schiaparelli set I've ever seen. In her short lived business adventure Elsa used many designers, and the one that came up with this design was way ahead of times. This set was found stored away in an antique with many other treasures.
The bracelet is 7-1/4 inches and the drop clip earrings measure 1-3/4 inch. They are made of curved metal and molded confetti glass. Each piece is signed and the earrings carry the patent number dating them to the 1950's, and probably near the end of Schiaparelli's production. They are in perfect condition other than the missing safety chain on the bracelet. This is a grand set to add to a collection, as the original owner knew full well.
All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase. |
