It looks like silver lily pads with faux pearl centers. It is not marked sterling but looks like it, with no signs of wear at the hinges that would indicate plating. It also has a lovely patina. The clasp is marked Yechang but I have been unable to find any information on the maker. Each pad is an inch across, yet it looks delicately feminine. Since my research has left me with a plank, I am pricing this as if it is plated, giving you a chance at a real bargain.
