I've had this brooch for some years and am finally offering it for sale. It is an unusual piece shaped in a hexagon of light weight black plastic. There are some raised marks on the face that look like brush marks with a loupe. All the turquoise rhinestones, with the exception of one, look to be original. Around them, both in the center design and at the edge are impressed nodulars with a metal looking finish, some of which have worn off. I have come across a necklace like it in one of my reference books that dates it between 1925 and 30. Book value was $95 ten years ago.
