Circa: 1950s Condition: Fair Size: 14-1/2" Type: Choker Manufacturer: Unknown
This is the sweetest choker with baroque pearls under a fourth of an inch in diameter. The pearls seem to be in mint condition, as I see no flaking, which is extra ordinary for this type of pearl. The only flaw is in the 2-1/2 inch back drop which shows verdigris on the chain. I used a soft brush on the upper section that appears to have removed it there. So with a little work you'll have a terrific piece; or you could easily replace the drop entirely. In the center are graduated lengths of rhinestone rondelles. Each end of the clasp holds a row of rhinestones as well, and all seem to be alive and shining. I don't feel the buyer will be disappointed in this choker at all. Book value $95.
All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase. |
