I acquired this ring with a number of others, all claimed to be American Indian, however, I believe it to be from Mexico. It is marked Sterling, along with an indiscernible designer’s mark, which to my knowledge was not done with American Indian pieces. It's a hefty ring with a piece of nicely colored abalone measuring 5/8 inch high by 1/2 inch wide, another trait of Mexican jewelry. Because of the wide band it is not possible to get an exact ring size. It is a 10-3/4 or an 11. This ring shows normal vintage wear with no significant damage. Book value $150.
All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase. |
