First of all let me state that I know nothing about watches. This Elgin pocket watch has been scratch on the inside screw on back plate and appears to be 14k yellow gold. It is marked on the plate Dueber, Warranted 20 years, 10610039.

There are also several numbers scratched on the plate that I was told are records of some sort of cleaning or work that had been done on it during the years. It has a single-sunk porcelain dial (there are scratches on it but not as visible as my photos make them appear) with black Arabic numerals minute markers, and seconds register, and does not appear to be working. It may just need a cleaning, but again, I do not know. There are no scratches on the front glass.
Inside around the edge of the movement is etched ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO, USA, 15 JEWELS, 22213244.
