This is one of the nicest Scrimshaw whaling ships you'll find. Even the natural shading on the ivory was used to the best advantage; making the sky and sea look as if a storm is brewing, with the sails full of wind with the birds sticking close by. The silver tone setting has a very nice design to it as well. Book value $50.
