Here's a good example of a true Jelly Belly. The Great Blue Heron was made by Trifari in 1943 and designed by Alfred Philippe. It is gold plated sterling with brilliant rhinestones and a Lucite jelly belly, marked Des Pat No 135175. The brooch is 3-1/2 inches tall and in very good condition. Book value $900.
