Figural pins have always been popular. The turtles were big sellers back in the early part of the 1960's. This one is not the norm, however, with its mother-of-pearl back stone. The brass plated body has lovely etching and his eyes are red rhinestones. He could use a bath to bring out more sparkle, but other than that he's in excellent condition.
