I know I've seen this gorgeous brooch in a reference book, but can't put my finger on it now. Made in the mid 50's the construction is unbelievable by today’s standards for custom jewelry. There are even rhinestones in the thorns! It's in mint condition with one shortcoming. As I tried to show in my close-up, there is a stress crack at the steam where it meets the flower. You don't even see it unless you are looking for it, but want to make it known.
