Here is a neat scarab necklace in the popular Egyptian Revival style. The colors are beige, buff brown, and turquoise. I haven't a clue how this was made. It appears to be clay or stone and is cool to the touch. The scarabs are not molded, but carved. The largest one that hangs 1-1/4" is completely hollow on the inside and the back has a bird carving among others signs. It's not a heavy piece, and has been made to look older than it truly is. I would estimate this being from the 1960's. Book value $75.
