Super 5 Strand Pearl and Blue Crystal Set This has got to be one of the prettiest crystal and pearl sets ever. I still can't believe this top quality set does not have a designer signature on it. The faux pearls show no wear and the crystals really live up to their name, Aurora Borealis, and have predominately blue tones. There are the neatest tiny swirl spacers between each bead. The five strand necklace has a Cleopatra look. It measures 15" with a two inch back drop. The earrings are 1-1/2" with wired on beads. (If photos appear fuzzy, use the zoom to clearify.) Cinnabar Carved Necklace and Dragon Bangle Here's a set of Cinnabar which includes a carved beaded necklace that measures 24 inches, and a bangle with two Chinese dragons facing off with a fire ball between them. They do not appear to have been worn. These were very difficult to photograph for some reason, but I'm sure you will be thrilled with their condition. The only flaw I notice is the clasp pin has some finish loss.

Gold Plate Morning Set with Facet Black Glass This set is made of brass with thin gold gilt that is worn. The cuff style bracelet is ridged around the perimeter, and displays a leaf and flower motif. The center is facet glass with a center wired faux pearl. All the pearls on the set have lost their finish, showing a milk white bead, and show no signs of even being coated. The cuff opens with an under button and hinged opening.

The screw back earrings duplicate the motif and hang two inches. These types of earring are seen in many price guides averaging between $40 and $60, but never feature the accompanying bracelet. The set is a fine find. Book value for the set $120.

Lavender and Pink Czech Rhinestone Set We just returned home from an antique show we did on the coast and found a number of dealers had similar sets from Czechoslovakia. From what I found out from them and other dealers, these are coming into the U.S. from old stock in Europe and people seem to be going nuts over them. They are unfinished in the sense that at the time of manufacturing the soldering marks were not finished over before going into storage. This only shows from the back of course and is otherwise in excellent new vintage condition. Note that the earrings hang toward the neck, and is not noticeable on them either when worn.

It is hard to capture the true size by photo, however, the clip earrings are 2-5/8" long with the lavender marbleized stone being 3/4 of an inch across; and the hot pink stones are an unusual triangle shaped. The necklace is an adjustable 19-1/2 inches in length. Book value $375.

Aurora Borealis Enamel Leaf Set Offering a lovely Aurora Borealis set from the 50's which include the earrings and a pair of scatter pins. The metal is in a leaf motif with black enameling that is in perfect condition. The stones have some normal surface scratches that are seen with a loupe. They are predominately pink shades with some yellow/golden coloring. Book value $55.

Czechoslovakian Carnelian and Turquoise Glass Set This is one of the most gorgeous sets I've come across. Each section measures an inch square. Each carnelian stone has facets in blocks that are four to the width and five to the length. Wrapped from alternate sides is a delicate Fleur de Lis with a turquoise bead in the center. This all sets on a filigree base with two more turquoise beads on the other end. My guess is that this is Czechoslovakian.

The bracelet is made of six sections, three with large 3/4" glass pieces that mimic turquoise, and three with faceted carnelian. The turquoise sections are wrapped on both sides (with the exception of the section at the clasp that is missing) with a filigree fan. Each corner of the filigree base holds a pronged coral colored bead which may be carnelian or glass. Total length of the bracelet is 7-3/8 inch and it still holds its original security chain.

The clip earrings are set at an angle and done in turquoise with four carnelian beads, one in each corner.

Muranese Glass Memory Bracelet and Earrings This set is a marriage that beats them all. Both bracelet and earrings are highlighted with Aventurine, or goldstone beads from Italy.

The bracelet is done in a square shape that adjusts to various wrists sizes. There are brass beads with chain tassels at each end. The clip earrings are brass based, and one of them is marked Japan. Hand wired with both a matt and a sheen finished faux pearl with Aurora Borealis crystals on each side. This is a very well made, gorgeous pair with lots of sparkle.

Full Laguna Crystal Set Laguna is a lesser-known name among vintage jewelry, unless you're big into crystals. Also known as Royal Craftsmen of New York, they were in business from 1944 to the 1980's. Their crystal jewelry is what I am most familiar with. It is always of high quality.

The choker is fantastic. It reminds me of Art Deco chandelier glass. The necklace is 12" with the adjustable drop back being an additional three. The three-stranded bracelet has something else going for it other than being hard to come by, and the crystal cut, it is also three stranded. It measures 7-1/4" and looks to be unused. You will love shining with this set!

Hard to find by any maker is a full demi, as this was sold to me. As I see now, only with the use of my close-up photography, the clip earrings are not original to the set, although they are by the same manufacturer. They have the more common faceted cut, whereas the bracelet and necklace have squared cuts that I have never come across until now. Since it's not noticeable, and the diamond cut beads match the pair, I'm keeping them together for a complete demi.

Total Brass Rhinestone Choker and Earring Set I have never seen a rhinestone choker like this one. I do LOVE to say that, as it is my goal to bring you unique, special pieces. It is made of brass, which in itself is not unusual, as they frequently were but then always plated. On this necklace even the sockets on the complete chain are brass, both bottoms and sides, with no evidents of plating wear, suggesting it was never plated. It is an old piece from the 30's and measures 14 inches. The stones are sharp and twinkling, with only one starting to show signs of darkening. Book value $200.

The earrings are clips and are 1-2/8" across and are more recent, dating to the late 50's. The rhinestones are enough to blind a person! - and are set on a filigree backing and glued into sockets. If you want to shine, this set will accomplish your goal. Book value $200.

Outstanding Blue Moon Rock Judy Lee Demi-Parure Over the top Judy Lee set that looks like moon rock. The minute I spotted this set I scooped it up to bring home. I have rarely seen such an unusual set - well, I guess you can tell I'm impressed by the way I'm carrying on. Both brooch and clip earrings are in two tiers. The dark blue glass center pieces are accentuated with sprays of Aurora Borealis stones. The brooch is almost 2-1/2" and the earrings almost 1-1/2 inch. Excellent, un-used condition. Royal Moonglow, Rhinestone, Floral Haskell Style Set If you like big brooches, you'll go nuts over this set. Done in the early Haskell style, but unmarked.

The brooch is 2-1/2 inches across with silver tone floral motif, pronged rhinestones, royal blue Lucite, art glass, etc. The rhinestone bead toppers move around as normal when they have been wired on. During its life someone must have been afraid the beads were falling off because they pushed a little glue behind some of the bead backs; between the backing on both the brooch and the earrings. Something that was not necessary, but doesn't show unless you look close. The earrings are clip, and measure 1-1/4". They don't look like they were ever worn.

The necklace, although not part of the original set, makes a great marriage. The beads are gorgeous moonstone and flexed Lucite, with plastic crystal spacers. Someone has re-strung it from a choker to a full length. Not too bad an idea since it can now be worn anywhere from 28", or wrapped around as a choker. You'll feel like Royalty wearing this set (excuse the pun).

Copper Link Bracelet with Crystal Earrings Here's a unique combination. The link bracelet measures 7-1/4" and is marked Copper. The hook closure makes it possible to adjust to any length needed. The European hook earrings are a six caret crystal housed in a copper looking set, but are not marked. I think the changes of finding another someone with a pair like these are pretty slim.
