Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver Pill Box This lovely pill box was hand made of 925 Sterling and Abalone Shell. The signature is clear, CMP, but the surrounding stamp is not. In any case the initials indicate for sure that this is an early piece of Iguala 925 Hecho En Mexico silver. Last time we visited Mexico I couldn't believe how high the price of these had gone. Sweet piece with nice patina. Book value $55.

Charles of the Ritz Compact and Avon Lip Stick This Charles of the Ritz compact is designed with a silver and gold tone basket weave pattern. There are normal scuff marks on the outside, and the inside is like new. It still has its CR powder puff which is unused and the leather and felt lining. There are no scratches or cracks in the mirror either. I've paired this up with an Art Deco design Avon lip stick which still has some of the Ripe Red color remaining.
