Bakelite People Pin with Moveable Joints Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

The neat people pins that were created during the 1940's are now some of the most coveted Bakelite pieces. They don't show up nearly as much as other items, and are not always in the best condition when found.

This little guy, well I shouldn't say little as he is four inches in length, is in excellent condition. All the paint is in tact, his joints move as they are meant, and he swings on a wooden seat that hangs from a lovely formed carved trunk. Made of Bakelite and other plastics, wood and metal rings for the joints. The chain is made of plastic rings. He has such a happy face it reminds me of years gone by when children use to swing rather than sit in front of a computer for recreation. All he needs is a little cleaning. Book value $600.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

Celluloid Hand with Red Nails and Jewelry Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

This hand pin has lovely long figures with the nails painted red. There is no chipping; wish my nail polish would last so long! It's adorned with a ring and bracelet of metal and paste stones. The pin back is in perfect condition as well. Book value $165 - Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

This early piece of celluloid is found in the reference books. Rather crudely made, I doubt the manufacturers ever dreamed these pins would be selling at the prices they do now.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

No, it's not fruit but it's the next best thing. I've grouped together a lot of colorful bangles from the hip 60's era. There are three square ones; solid, marbled and Lucite filled. Others include spacers, solid and marble wide, beads, and one wrapped that is interesting. You pick your own.

Al Jolson Minstral Man Plastic Brooch Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

I have seen black faced pins from Czechoslovakia. I did get this one in France, however, it is not marked Czech. Named after a Broadway performer of the 1920-30's, Al Jolson the Mintral Man, is this darling brooch with a lot of bright colors of molded plastic that make up the black baby and pineapple. It measures 3-1/2" x 2-3/4 inch. Book value $65.

Green Marbled Plastic Bobs Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

This pair of bobs looks W. Germany, although they are not marked. The brass findings are very intricate with little flower motifs, and the marbled plastic is a two tone lime sherbet color. What is unusual is that the plastic is not uniform like molded beads. They are clips and hang 1-3/4 inch.

Early Pink Plastic Bobs Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

I see why they called these earrings bobs. I couldn't get them to stay still to take a photo! These are 3-1/4 inches long and have a wonderful one inch molded pink plastic ball at the end. They are very light weight and in good condition. The plastic is molded and you can see the mold line in the center of each ball, plus there are a couple of air bubbles and abrasions from manufacturing that are noticed when magnified. These old timers are a fun pair of earrings for the girl who looks pretty in pink.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.
