It also has a unique closure that works half a turn of the C clasp. Book value 85. Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Precious Rhinestone Cherry Pin Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

The moment I spotted this stupendous pin I knew it was special. I finally came across a piece like it that was marked Butler & Wilson. Fruit and vegetable jewelry has become a tough category to find, as there are so many collectors out there, and I know the minute I sell this I'll be sorry I did. In any case I can't keep it all, and I have to leave some of the nice pieces for you, right?

This clump of cherries depicts three stages of ripeness from red to blush. At a close look, the stones are fantastic on this piece and all original. Book value of $95. Here's a pair of wonderful huge clip earrings. The centers are an entire inch of wired real coral pieces. The lacey filigree work shows around it and is set off with turquoise beads. They are marked Pat. Pend. on one of the clips. On close examination you can see yellowed glue here and there, but other than that they are in very good condition.

Czechoslovakian Carnelian and Turquoise Glass Set Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

This is one of the most gorgeous sets I've come across. Each section measures an inch square. Each carnelian stone has facets in blocks that are four to the width and five to the length. Wrapped from alternate sides is a delicate Fleur de Lis with a turquoise bead in the center. This all sets on a filigree base with two more turquoise beads on the other end. My guess is that this is Czechoslovakian.

The bracelet is made of six sections, three with large 3/4" glass pieces that mimic turquoise, and three with faceted carnelian. The turquoise sections are wrapped on both sides (with the exception of the section at the clasp that is missing) with a filigree fan. Each corner of the filigree base holds a pronged coral colored bead which may be carnelian or glass. Total length of the bracelet is 7-3/8 inch and it still holds its original security chain.

The clip earrings are set at an angle and done in turquoise with four carnelian beads, one in each corner.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

Elzac Lady with an Attitude Pin Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

Elzac jewelry is fun to collect and it seems like you hardly see the same pin twice. No doubt because they were all hand made. This pin was probably one of the Victim of Fashion pins. It has a small pin hole on each side at the upper edge of the green and clear Lucite which may have originally held feathers or cloth. There is very little paint loss to this lady. As with all my pieces I leave the cleaning up to the new owner, and she looks like she needs to be cleaned up a bit.

Elzac Inc. Manufacturers produced novelty jewelry during World War II. Headquartered in Los Angeles with designer Elliot Handler at the helm, the company used innovative materials such as ceramic, Lucite, fur, feathers, cloth, and wood in unusual, whimsical ways. Elzac was founded in 1941 and achieved great success and popularity over the next several years, during a period when more conventional jewelry materials were in short supply. The popularity of Elzac's style of jewelry waned rapidly after the war, only to be revived again on today’s market.

Total Brass Rhinestone Choker and Earring Set Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

I have never seen a rhinestone choker like this one. I do LOVE to say that, as it is my goal to bring you unique, special pieces. It is made of brass, which in itself is not unusual, as they frequently were but then always plated. On this necklace even the sockets on the complete chain are brass, both bottoms and sides, with no evidents of plating wear, suggesting it was never plated. It is an old piece from the 30's and measures 14 inches. The stones are sharp and twinkling, with only one starting to show signs of darkening. Book value $200. Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

The earrings are clips and are 1-2/8" across and are more recent, dating to the late 50's. The rhinestones are enough to blind a person! - and are set on a filigree backing and glued into sockets. If you want to shine, this set will accomplish your goal. Book value $200.

Figural Mother-of-Pearl Turtle Pin Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

Figural pins have always been popular. The turtles were big sellers back in the early part of the 1960's. This one is not the norm, however, with its mother-of-pearl back stone. The brass plated body has lovely etching and his eyes are red rhinestones. He could use a bath to bring out more sparkle, but other than that he's in excellent condition. Austrian Forbidden Fruit Pin in Green and White Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

I just love the fruit pieces of costume jewelry, especially the Forbidden Fruit made in Austria in the 1950's. They are really under priced in the reference guides as hard as they are to find, and as high as they sell for. This one is in very good condition with minimal wear to the enameled leaves, and bright lively lime green rhinestones. The grapes are cream colored early plastic. Book value $150.

Lavender and Pink Czech Rhinestone Set Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

We just returned home from an antique show we did on the coast and found a number of dealers had similar sets from Czechoslovakia. From what I found out from them and other dealers, these are coming into the U.S. from old stock in Europe and people seem to be going nuts over them. They are unfinished in the sense that at the time of manufacturing the soldering marks were not finished over before going into storage. This only shows from the back of course and is otherwise in excellent new vintage condition. Note that the earrings hang toward the neck, and is not noticeable on them either when worn.

It is hard to capture the true size by photo, however, the clip earrings are 2-5/8" long with the lavender marbleized stone being 3/4 of an inch across; and the hot pink stones are an unusual triangle shaped. The necklace is an adjustable 19-1/2 inches in length. Book value $375.

Incrediable Rhinestone Lion Brooch Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER! Prices listed are book value only. Don't be shy, this is your chance before this jewelry leaves store inventory, you tell me what you are willing to pay to make it yours.

I have occasionally been able to pick up some nice pieces from a woman who did a lot of traveling. This incredible lion is marked, but it is illegible. It could be a Kenneth Lane, or it might be a foreign signature.

This is a huge guy, measuring over 4 inches in length, and 1-1/2" tall. He's covered in rhinestones and has green eyes. The photos taken on the black background have a bag under him to hold him upright, as the surface is hard, unlike the white silk. Book value $210. Forget the Price ~ MAKE AN OFFER!
