Green Crystal Christmas Tree Pin This is a fantastic Xmas Tree pin from the 50s. Done in green crystal with an Aurora Borealis finish and topped with Italian Aldeutsche beads with red centers. It's in excellent condition other than finish loss on the back brass.

Super 5 Strand Pearl and Blue Crystal Set This has got to be one of the prettiest crystal and pearl sets ever. I still can't believe this top quality set does not have a designer signature on it. The faux pearls show no wear and the crystals really live up to their name, Aurora Borealis, and have predominately blue tones. There are the neatest tiny swirl spacers between each bead. The five strand necklace has a Cleopatra look. It measures 15" with a two inch back drop. The earrings are 1-1/2" with wired on beads. (If photos appear fuzzy, use the zoom to clearify.) 3 Strand Baroque and Rondelle Bib Choker This is the sweetest choker with baroque pearls under a fourth of an inch in diameter. The pearls seem to be in mint condition, as I see no flaking, which is extra ordinary for this type of pearl. The only flaw is in the 2-1/2 inch back drop which shows verdigris on the chain. I used a soft brush on the upper section that appears to have removed it there. So with a little work you'll have a terrific piece; or you could easily replace the drop entirely. In the center are graduated lengths of rhinestone rondelles. Each end of the clasp holds a row of rhinestones as well, and all seem to be alive and shining. I don't feel the buyer will be disappointed in this choker at all. Book value $95.

Large Tiered Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set High quality tiered rhinestone brooch measures two inches across and just shy of one inch tall. The stones are so exceptional that I've tried for three days to capture their brilliance in different lighting, to no avail (and I didn't notice until today that the top stone has a chip off one side that is nearly invisible). Both the screw-back earrings and brooch are made of chaton-cut rhinestones with pear-shaped stones placed at corners. This is likely to be an unsigned Weiss or Eisenberg by the look of the superior stones. Book value $200.

Opal Like Art Glass 4 Piece Set Mistaken identity is what I would call this set. It is so much like a Hobe set I could hardly believe it when I saw it was marked Japan. A good share of the 1950's sets out of Japan was made with plastic beads. This set is glass with the most remarkable show stones which look like large opals. These are altered with marbled glass and faux pearls.

The set includes a three strand wire bracelet, a pair of oval earrings, a three stand necklace, and an extra pair of earrings I came across and couldn't resist adding them back to their original released sisters. All strings are tight, wires and clasps in excellent condition, with only minor wear showing on backs of original earrings. The earrings I added show a little verdigris on the back of one, but this can easily be cleaned off (as with all my jewelry, I leave cleaning to the new owners). Besides the exception of finding a complete set with the matching bracelet, I see no wear on the pearls, which is rare too. This is a lovely set that will look great with your fall wardrobe.
