605-1

La Heir Rhinestone Necklace Creation Deborah M. Serfas is the owner and designer of Legacy Heirlooms, better known as La Heir jewelry. She designs all her pieces from antique and vintage parts and comes up with some incredible designs. Recently her works were display at the Forbes Gallery in New York City.

This necklace is made up of crystals, with clear, plum and aqua pronged rhinestones. It measures 16 inches with an additional 3 inch center drop. Fits perfectly with a drop neckline. I tried everything to get the true colors in the photos, but had to take one with distorted coloring in order to show the true color of the aqua stones (last photo). I've rated the condition as fair because of some foil missing from three stones, even though its not enough to be seen from the front side. Necklace is marked, as are all her pieces. Value $150.

1024-1

Uncommon Retro Pink Rhinestone Set Very well made metal link set looks as though it had a gold wash over it at one time. Both the choker, just shy of 15" and the 7-1/2" bracelet are studded with clear rhinestones and an emerald cut pink stone center. The screw back earrings are made of softer metal and still hold their gold tone, but are a definite match. All stones are hand set pronged. I can't find anything to compare it with other than the type of jewelry that was designed by Alfred Philippe, and may very well be an early Trifari that originally carried only a paper tag. Estimated book value $350.

Fantastic Multi Cut Rhinestone Earrings Here is a pair of huge clips with hand set prong marquise, pear and brilliant cut rhinestones. All rhinestones are clear and bright with no aging. The bottom button part is as large as a quarter. Because of the various angles and cut of stones they shine in every direction. Book value $150.

608-1

Sparkling Royal Blue Rhinestone Floret Necklace This necklace is a little newer than the rhinestone chokers that are so prevalent from the 50's. I'd say early 1960 range judging from the fold over clasp. It has a nice length so it doesn't choke, and it also hangs at just the right spot for those slinky low cut necklines that are in style this year.

It reminds me a flower motif. Has bright shiny clear stone petals, with large royal blue centers. It's in excellent condition other than the solder spots show on the back side. Estimated book value $205.

603-10

Czech Rhinestone and Art Glass Bridal Set This set was purchase from a dealer that had bought up old Czechoslovakian stock from the 1950‘s. The unassembled pieces have been soldered together more recently and were perfectly done with no flaws. The necklace is adjustable up to 19-1/2 inches, and the clip earrings drop to 2-1/2 inches. All the clear brilliant cut rhinestones are bright and sparkling. There are fuchsia triangle stones at each of the tips, and the marbled plum and white art glass reminds me of candy that I‘ve eaten when a child. All stones are pronged hand set. Oh yes, the drop on the necklace adds an additional three inches to this gorgeous set. Great for a wedding, or that special occasion that the norm just it's good enough. Book value is $375.

477-15

Drop Dead Smoke Crystal Necklace Super rare to find smoke crystals, and this two stranded necklace is definitely high quality. The shorter being smaller beads with a length of 13-1/2 inches; and the longer strand having larger beads measuring 14-1/2 inches. There is a little amount of play to the outer strand with no other defects that I see. The drop, with three end crystals, and clasp add another 3 inches to the length. Between each crystal is a gold plated seed bead. I would estimate these are from the late 50's to early 60's. They are so rare that I only have two reference guides that show a smoke grey crystal. Book value $350.

I show them with Austrian grey crystal earrings that match perfectly. They are sold separately, item number 252-36.

253-7

Polka Dot Posy Rhinestone Necklace I love this sweet necklace! The center of the flower is black Lucite, as are the black facet beads. The flower accents and leafs are rhinestones that have been glued in place and give the impression of spikes. The necklace measures 16" and has a hook clasp. Early 1960’s. Book value $60.

The bracelet shown is a near perfect match and can be purchased separately; item 967-2.

276-13

Unusual Blue Aurora Borealis and Moonstone Set This set is very unusual with rows of blue Aurora Borealis and moonstones; two of each alternating against one another. I know Alice Caviness used a similar technique with the same stones, but this set in unmarked. The necklace is 16-1/2" with a moonstone at the tip of the fish hook, and the clip earrings are 1-2/8 across. The earrings were obviously never worn, but the choker has a duller finish on the back indicating it had been. It's a very striking set that looks as up to date as the day it was manufactured. Estimated book value $350.

Special Occasion AB Crystals and Rhinestone Set Wow! ~ This set is just waiting for a special occasion. The clip dangle earrings are 2-1/2 inches with a fanned out width of 1-1/4 inch. It combines bright clear rhinestones, topped with glass Aurora Borealis crystals that radiate colors of the rainbow. The brooch mimics the design and is just a little smaller so as not to detract from the amazing drops. These are fit for a queen; knock your socks off, glamour! Estimated book value $195.
