66-1
Jeweled Czech Perfume Vanity Tray I have always loved the old vanity trays, and this jeweled tray is the nicest one I've gotten a hold of. Made in Czechoslovakia, each filigree; two inside and two outside handles in a ribbon bow motif, are highlighted with Czech crystal cabochons as well as facet crystals of red and green. The center hand made doily with a floral and leaf design has a light stain which is not as badly noticeable as the photos make it out to be. The tray sits on four feet. These are extremely hard to find, even more so than the Czech perfumes. Book value $375. (Bottles are being sold separately)

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

736-1
Green Czech Perfume, Vanity Set with Clock Fresh out of an estate in New Jersey comes a collection of perfume bottles from Czechoslovakia. This set includes two Bohemian cut glass green perfumes that are 6-1/4" tall, a three inch boudoir clock that still works, and a matching powder jar with feet.

The perfumes have an etched full flower design that is not seen much, with an estimated book value from 2003 of $425 each. The powder jar is also an unusual piece with the feet and has an estimated book value of $300, and the clock has a book value from the same date of $200. This makes the entire set worth $1350 at prices listed five years ago. These have reached record highs since then with the increased interested in collecting them. I also have listed a Czech jeweled tray that this set looks terrific with - see item 66-1.

The Duchess Perfume Set "The Duchess" was a vanity perfume set offered by Irice as an Easter promotion in 1940. These blue-white crystal perfume bottles were made in an American factory by artisans who for years operated the largest perfume bottle manufactory in Czechoslovakia. 258-14
Art Deco Koket Double Leather Compact This Koket double compact from the late 1920s. The top lid opens for rouge that looks unused. It holds its original Koket puff and the upper mirror is in perfect condition. The lower powder section is complete with original puff and a trace of powder remains, which is no doubt the reason for the deteriorated mirror in this section.

The outer appearance is very nice, with the upper lid displaying a flapper silhouette set off with a band of red enamel. The lower half is leather that is still soft.
Circa: 1920-30
Condition: Fair
Size: 2-3/8"

It opens to reveal a lined purse for lipstick and has a second compartment in the top section which holds the entire compact area. This opens to a powder-dispensing mechanism and a tin mirror; which opens for the rouge section and back side of the tin mirror. This compact has never been used as you can see from the original rouge, and sales information. The outer mesh is in perfect condition as well. The only flaw is a chip in the guilloche top. Otherwise even the rose paintings are without flaw. Made by the Evens Case Co.
